Born in
New York,
for women,
everywhere.
AI After 5 is a community of ambitious women who believe they don’t have to sacrifice anything for the life they want.
Curiosity, agency, ambition. Practiced after hours, in the decade AI rewrites everything.
Curiosity with company, agency with the room to use it, and ambition with a life attached. What we are building is optionality: inside your job, outside of it, and in the rooms where it gets decided.

Mina is the spark. She sees what something could be before anyone else has caught up, and then builds it anyway. She founded Genee, an AI startup, so she brings more than ideas: the network, the experience, and the hard-won knowledge of what it takes to turn a vision into something real.
The question underneath all of it has never changed. Who is in the room, and who is not. She asked it out loud inside Google, in a post about tech's gender imbalance, and then refused to let the answer stay a conversation.
She has since left Google to build AI After 5 full time. Everything that followed started with her.

A former teacher turned Googler, Mél knows that the way something is taught matters as much as what is being taught. She spent years learning what moves a person from confusion to confidence, and the answer was never the material on its own. It was the room it was taught in.
So she builds the room with the same care as the curriculum. She learns names, makes the introductions, follows up. A good night, by her measure, is not one where fifty women turned up. It is one where every one of them left seen, heard and backed.
Every visual and design decision at AI After 5 comes from her. Based in London, Mél leads the EMEA chapter and is the person bringing AI After 5 experience to life globally.
